The National Green Infrastructure Certification Program provides a credential for green infrastructure construction, inspection and maintenance workers. NGICP and Program Partner events that support these workers are found here.

WEF is piloting a Blended Learning Program (combination of online learning & a 2-day in-person training) in 2019. As part of this pilot program, applicants are required to complete the GI modules online via WEF’s Learning Management System over 8 weeks (July & Aug) and then, attend a 2-day in-person training and take the exam after the training ends. Completion of the online modules is a pre-requisite to attend the in-person training.
Online Learning (8 weeks): July to Aug. Applicants will be given access to the training materials via WEF’s Learning Management System
In-person Training (2-day): Sep 9 and 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Exam Date: Sep 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Fee for this training and exam is $700 (Training=$500 and exam=$200)
For this pilot program, NGICP certification requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) at a minimum and completion of the GI training (online learning component and the 2-day in-person training). All applicants must email Sarah Stallard (firstname.lastname@example.org), a copy of their transcript/diploma as proof of HS (or college) education before July 1, 2019.
This exam is being administered as a paper-and-pencil test. Results are usually available within 45 days.
